Exercise and weight loss

As usual it's time to post my monthly workout calender. This month have been pretty much the same as last month. I did take a few days of doing yoga, though. Routines honestly drives me crazy so I felt rebellious not doing yoga (wild, I know), haha!

Endomondo has changed their layout so the calendar looks a bit bigger which means what I do looks a lot smaller so I don't think it looks very impressive, but yeah!

The reason I don't run is because I have problems with my legs. I had an accident a while back where I broke my leg and needed to have an operation. After the operation I've had knee pains, it hurts when I run to the buss even. Maybe sometime in the future I will be able to enjoy a run again, but for now walking will do.

I have been loosing weight on purpose lately and it's been going well. I haven't talked about it because I felt shy about it and it felt a little personal, but I have lost 10 kg (22 pounds) now which I am very proud of. While living in Ireland we lived between two pizza shops, two Chinese restaurants and one burger shop maximum 2 minutes walking distance from us. I wasn't too fond of cooking then (or doing the dishes that followed) so it was a little too easy for me to buy take away. Besides I love pizza!! That was the main reason I gained some weight. It's totally fine, though. I decided not to beat myself up over it and loose some weight over time, it can happen to anybody. I started seriously to make a big effort 7th of January and the weight loss has gone smoothly. It's been challenging, but I wouldn't say too hard. I was very happy to do it and felt like it was time. I also felt like I did it in a healthy way which was important to me.
